a series of scintillating drives and dunks that

It came down to the final weekend, but every playoff spot in the Hockey League is finally spoken for. Devin Funchess Jersey . Garret Sparks turned away all 28 shots he faced as the Guelph Storm blanked the visiting Owen Sound Attack 4-0 on Friday. With his fifth shutout of the season, Sparks and his Guelph club secure the eighth and final playoff position in the Eastern Conference. Depending on how the Windsor Spitfires finish the season, Guelph could finish as high as seventh. Hunter Garlent scored twice and set up one more for the Storm (30-31-6), who beat out the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds for the final spot in the East. Scott Kosmachuk had a goal and an assist and Zack Mitchell added a single goal. Gemel Smith and Cameron Brace were both minus-3 for the Attack (32-28-7), who fell to seventh in the West. Jordan Binnington made 30 saves in a losing effort. Guelph went 1 for 6 on the power play as Owen Sound failed to score on six chances with the man advantage. Elsewhere in the OHL, it was: London 3, Sarnia 2; Saginaw 5, Windsor 1; Belleville 4, Kingston 3 (SO); Kitchener 5, Erie 1; Mississauga 4, Barrie 3 (OT) and Ottawa 6, Sudbury 4. At Guelph, Ont., after a scoreless first period, the Storm scored three straight goals in the second for a 3-0 lead after 40 minutes of play. Mitchell scored at 10:08, Kosmachuk followed him up at 14:49 and 30 seconds later Garlent scored his first of the night. Garlent added one more goal, by way of power play, at 6:44 of the third period. --- Knights 3 Sting 2 At London, Ont., Michael Houser tied the single-season record for wins with 46 as the Knights (48-18-1) slipped past Sarnia (33-27-7). --- Spirit 5 Spitfires 1 At Saginaw, Mich., Josh Shalla scored in the first period to become the Spirits all-time goals leader with 119 as Saginaw (32-27-8)downed Windsor (29-31-7). --- Bulls 4 Frontenacs 3 (SO) At Kingston, Ont., Adam Payerl scored the winner in a shootout and Brady Austin scored twice in regulation as Belleville (34-32-1) handed the Frontenacs (19-40-8) their eighth straight loss. --- Rangers 5 Otters 1 At Kitchener, Ont., John Gibson turned away 49 of 50 shots, Tobias Rieder scored two goals and Ryan Murphy had four assists as the Rangers (42-22-2) beat Erie (10-51-6), which has lost seven games in a row. --- Majors 4 Colts 3 (OT) At Mississauga, Ont., Stuart Percy scored the game-winning goal in overtime and added an assist as the Majors (32-27-7) edged Barrie (40-22-5) for their fourth straight win. --- 67s 6 Wolves 4 At Ottawa, Tyler Toffoli scored twice and Petr Mrazek stopped 41 shots as the 67s (40-18-8) picked up their first win in three outings by beating Sudbury (35-25-6). Kelvin Benjamin Jersey . Subban has started off his season strong, ranking sixth in the NHL in assists with 20 and 23rd in points with 24. Yet the question remains, should Subban be on Canadas Olympic roster? Subbans skill-set as an offensive defenceman limits his competition for a position on the team, but it also restricts his chances. Kelvin Benjamin Panthers Jersey .ca. Kerry, With just over a second left in the game, the L.A. Kings puck got behind Henrik Lundqvist. Derek Stepan got in, swatting the puck back under Lundqvist with his glove. SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Rudy Gay walked off the court to a standing ovation in the final minutes, receiving high-fives from coaches and teammates on the bench -- and a hug from DeMarcus Cousins. Nobody might be more thankful than Sacramentos centre for the added help. Gay scored 26 points in his first home game since coming over in a trade from Toronto, leading the Kings past the Houston Rockets 106-91 on Sunday night. "It makes the game so much easier," Cousins said. "Its not such a heavy load on me and Isaiah (Thomas) every night, just having another go-to guy." With Gay leading the way, Sacramento outshot Houston 48.1 to 41.3 per cent and finally showed some signs of defence. Cousins collected 21 points and 10 rebounds, and Thomas had 19 points and eight assists to help Sacramento hold on to the lead for most of the final 35 minutes. Gay added five rebounds and four assists. He finished 10 for 20 from the field in a dazzling home debut for the Kings, who had lost eight of their past 10 games. "The basketball is going to be in my hands a lot," Gay said, "so Im just trying to keep everybody comfortable and keep everybody happy." James Harden sprained his left ankle early in the third quarter and finished with 25 points, and Dwight Howard had 13 points and 10 rebounds while battling foul trouble in a disappointing end to Houstons quick three-game road trip. The Rockets lost at Portland on Thursday and won at Golden State on Friday. Rockets assistant Kelvin Sampson filled in for Kevin McHale all three games following the death of McHales mother. Guard Jeremy Lin sat out with back spasms and forward Terrence Jones had two points and five assists while playing just 15 minutes because of flu-like symptoms. Its unclear whether Harden or Lin will be able to play Wednesday against Chicago in Houston. "Its very, very painful," Harden said of his ankle. "I am trying to get through this, stay positive and focus on getting back." Sacramentos newest attraction seized the opportunity. Gay, who came over in a seven-player traade from Toronto last week, had 24 points in the loss at Phoenix on Friday. Greg Olsen Panthers Jersey. . He started quickly in his first game at home for Sacramento, scoring 14 points in the first quarter, including a series of scintillating drives and dunks that brought most of the announced crowd of 15,606 roaring to their feet. "It makes my job easier on offence. Thats for sure," Kings coach Michael Malone said. "Hes so skilled. Hes so talented. He makes it look so easy out there. He can score in so many ways." As Houstons mistakes piled up, Sacramento surged ahead. The Kings took advantage of 11 turnovers by the Rockets in the first half to go ahead 48-38 late in the second quarter. Houston had six turnovers in the second half. Sacramento didnt exactly play a clean game, either. The Kings finished with 16 turnovers. "We still had opportunities to win," Howard said. "But we didnt capitalize on them." Harden gave the Rockets a bigger scare when he twisted his ankle stepping on Ben McLemores foot while driving through traffic early in the third quarter. Harden lay on the hardwood for a couple minutes, but stayed in the game to make both free throws -- lifting his left foot in the air while shooting -- before limping to the locker room. Harden returned later in the quarter, and appeared slightly hampered. The Rockets also struggled to regroup, especially with Howard on the bench in foul trouble. Sampson admitted he "probably should not have put" Harden back in the game. But he was more frustrated with Houstons effort from the start. "I didnt think we were ready to play," Sampson said. "I didnt think it was a good effort. We are letting too many of these type of games slip away." NOTES: Kings G Marcus Thornton did not play in the first half. He had two points in nearly 7 minutes in the second half. ... Houston had won five of its previous six games at Sacramento. ... Rockets big man Omer Asik, who has been the subject of trade rumours, missed his sixth straight game with what the team has called a bruised right thigh. Cheap Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Authentic China Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys ' ' '
