Mulan is then forced to meet a matchmaker to demonstrate her fitness to be a good future wife. Mulan attempts to pour tea, but she panicked due to a spider and destroyed the kettle. Later this girl fought against the Hun invasion to take her father’s place during the Han dynasty.

The fans can watch Mulan on Disney+ with a subscription of $300 fee. The film got an approval rating of 74% based on 282 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes with an average rating of 6.7 out of 10. There is no iconic song in the film, but the visuals are feast with exhilarating action.

Holes (2003)

Holes is an American adventure comedy movie written by Louis Sachar and directed by Andrew Davis. The film is based on the novel by Sachar of the same name. The movie stars Jon Voight, Sigourney Weaver, Tim Blake Nelson, Patricia Arquette, and Shia LaBeouf.

The plot of the story revolves around Stanley Yelnats IV, who lives in Texas. He has been cursed for misfortune and blame on their ancestor for the failure of Elya to keep the promise to the fortune teller named Madame Zeroni in Latvia.

Holes was co-produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Walden Media and is distributed by Disney, Buena Vista. It was released on 18 April 2003 in the United States and earned $71.4 million worldwide. The movie received an approval rating of 78% based on 138 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes. And on Metacritic, it scored 71 out of 100 ratings based on 28 critics.

Splash (1984)

Splash is an American fantasy romantic comedy written by Babloo Mandel and Lowell Ganz and directed by Ron Howard. It stars Tom Hanks, John Candy, Eugene Levy, and Daryl Hannah.

The plot of the story revolves around eight-year-old Allen Bauer, played by David Kreps, who is vacationing with family near Cape Cod. While taking a sightseeing tour on a boat, Bauer sees something below the ocean that fascinated him. He encounters a mermaid under the water and jumps into the water even though he can not swim. And as the story grows, he falls in love with the mermaid.

Splash was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay. The film was a warm and glowy comedy letting the stars Daryl Hannah and Tom Hanks do their fascinating things. The audience liked the movie, and it collected a gross of $69.8 million budget against a budget of $11 million. It received an approval rating of 91% based on 43 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, and the site states, “It is a perfectly warm, light and funny romantic comedy.”

Frankenweenie (2012)

Frankeweenie is a 3D stop-motion animated horror comedy movie produced by Walt Disney Pictures and directed by Tim Burton. It is a remake of a short film of the same name, and both the book of Mary Shelley inspires the film.

Burton’s Frankeweenie is a black-and-white homage of horror films. It centers around the young scientist Victor Frankenstein lives with his family and dog, Sparky, in New Holland. Victor’s intelligence is recognized by his classmates, including his unhappy next-door neighbor, Elsa Van Helsing, the mischievous, Edgar, the obese and gullible Bob, and the eccentric girl nicknamed, Weird Girl.

Frankenweenie received positive reviews from audiences and as well from critics. The movie holds an approval rate of 87% on Rotten Tomatoes with an average rating of 7.53/10.

Avatar (2009)

Avatar is an American epic science fiction movie written, produced, directed, and co-edited by James Cameron. It stars Zoe Saldana, Michelle Rodriguez, Sam Worthington, and Sigourney Weaver.

The movie is set in the mid 22nd century when humans are colonizing Pandora. In that era, humans have depleted all of Earth’s resources which leads to a severe energy crisis. The Resources Development Administration (also known as RDA) mines a valuable mineral on Pandora, which is a densely forested area orbiting around Polyphemus in the Alpha Centauri star system.

Well, yes the franchise will soon release one after one sequence, but why not rewatch the original one again. It is James Cameron’s one of the epics and audiences widely accepted the movie. It received an 82% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on 316 reviews, with an average rating of 7.43/10.
